What is UNESON?
The United Social Network (UNESON) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the goal of fostering peace and understanding by bringing children worldwide together and teaching them respect towards others and their cultures. UNESON was founded in 2010 in the German city of Karlsruhe. Founder and director Jasmin I. Sahin has been committed to child welfare for more than a decade. Her work is supported by a large network of sponsors and friends, actively promoting the ideals of UNESON.
What does UNESON do?
UNESON is involved in various creative projects dedicated to connecting the children of the world, first and foremost the Quilt of Peace project. We want the children to know that they are not alone in the world out there. The children will understand how other cultures think and in doing so learn to accept cultural differences and country-specific features on a global scale. We strongly believe that tolerance and understanding others are the very cornerstone of peace and unity worldwide.
